Mary and I love history in general. In particular I love the history of science.
| I find it most interesting to read about, and become acquainted with, persons through whose efforts the science of meteorology has expanded. This web page cannot become a history book of weather. But I have highlighted two of the men who have made notable contributions, such as Luke Howard, 'the Godfather of Clouds' and Wilson A. Bentley, 'the Snowflake Man'. Other vignettes will be coming along in the future. Watch for them. |
